This year’s theme, “Surgical Safety Starts with Us” highlights the essential role perioperative nurses play in protecting patients every single day. Safety is a core principle that underpins our clinical knowledge, vigilance, teamwork and commitment to excellence in care.
European Perioperative Nursing Day is an opportunity to recognize the expertise, leadership, and dedication of perioperative nurses across Europe. Every time a patient enters the operating room, perioperative nurses are there — advocating, coordinating, communicating, and safeguarding outcomes.
