Minija Joseph Award

The Minija Joseph Award was intended for theatre nurses in India, to enable them to acknowledge contributions and commitments in respect of perioperative patient safety, and to promote and empower the Indian perioperative nursing workforce.

This award was presented, by Minija herself, at the International Conference of Perioperative Nursing (ICPN), held at the All Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur, (25-27 February 2020); and was hosted by the Society of Perioperative Nurses India (SPNI).

The winner was Geethu Anitta Sebastian from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
