IFPN Meeting 2019
August 2019 I attended August IFPN meeting at AfPP York. 10 Board members attended in person and Ruth Melville (Ambassador Asia Pacific ) and PIORNA Pacific Islands pre-members dialling in via teleconference. A successful productive days meeting, however the telecommunication platform needs to be improved so that future meetings, all member’s can be participants, as the cost as well as time are a factor in non attendance occurring. The 2020 Sydney meeting this was organised as an essential part of meeting. Copy of AGM meeting minutes attached in the email

Resignation
I am sadly required to stand down as IFPN Secretary as from the 30th June 2020 due to a personal family situation that needs my undivided attention for the next 6 months. I thank Mona GF and Patrick Voight my Executive team members for being part of a dynamic inspiring leadership group. I wish IFPN all the best for its ongoing future and being the active voice for Perioperative Nurses at the ICN Table and on the World stage at relevant conferences and forum’s. I will gather together an electronic package for hand over to incoming secretary and pass this on to the executive team.
